Experience the special atmosphere of Christmas in Lyme Regis Baptist Church as you look at the Christmas Trees decorated by local organisations.

EASTER BONNET PARADE

Sunday April 24th 2011

Make an Easter Bonnet. Come to the Baptist Church Hall for judging and then parade throught the streets of Lyme accompanied by the Lyme Regis Junior band and the Lyme Regis Majorettes to Theatre Square.

MAY DAY FETE

Sunday May 1st 2011

Join the many local organisations who will have stalls around an arena. There will be displays from the young people of Lyme to entertain you. If you want a stall (remeber you keep all you take) email us at info@lymeregiscarnival.co.uk.

THANKSGIVING DAY

Thursday June 16th 2011

Parliament decreed at the end of te English Civil War that there should be a day of celebration and prayer in Lyme to commemorate the end of the unsuccessful siege of Lyme by the Royalist Forces. It was one of the longest sieges of the Civil War. In Lyme we will carry on the tradition by dressing in clothes of the period and parading through the streets. Join us in our celebration.
