Carnival Committee distributes £20,000 in grants to local good causes

Lyme Regis Carnival and Regatta Team is pleased to announce grants totalling just under £20,000 have been awarded to 31 good causes in the local community:

Alan Vian, committee chairman, said: “We are delighted to be able to distribute such a significant amount of money to some wonderful organisations in the local community.

"It makes the hard work and effort put in by the committee and our volunteers during carnival week, and other events throughout the year, so worthwhile when we are able to hand out money like this."
