Take part in the carnival procession

We’d love to make this year’s carnival procession extra special with as many individuals, local groups, organisations and businesses taking part as possible.

It's very much a community carnival with proceeds from the carnival procession collection being distributed amongst those voluntary groups and organisations taking part.

The main thing is that we show off the best of Lyme Regis, using sound, light and movement to bring carnival alive.

The evening of carnival procession - Sat 10th August 2024

Motorised vehicles need to be supplied with a marshal – this is someone who will walk alongside the vehicle in the procession, a short safety briefing and high vis jacket will be supplied before the parade commences.

All entries to arrive by 19:00 to Holmbush Car Park, Pound Street, DT7 3HX. Children walking entries to arrive by 19:30 at the latest for judging.

The procession starts at 8pm from Holmbush Car Park and proceeds down Pound Street, Broad Street, through Cobb Gate car park along Marine Parade and finishes at Monmouth beach car park.
